A Glowing Review

We played at the ISA fall show last week and had a great time! Today I picked up a copy of the Review, which is UD's school paper and was happy to find an article about the show inside. Here is what they had to say about the show and us:

The first half of the show contained performances of traditional dances such as Nritya Jhankaar, Desi Dhamaka and a performance of Bhangra by a group from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia...

After intermission, the band The Look Machine performed a series of traditional songs with a new-age feel.

Lookout Rolling Stone! There is a an up-and-coming rock critic headed your way.

what a bizzare way to describe your music.. if i didnt know any better.. i would have just thought you were performing traditional Indian songs but updated some how.
New Age?! Uck!

were they even at the thing, or are they retarded?

They make it sound like Yanni and John Tesh joined us for a rousing version of "It is Well With My Soul."

Very odd.

As a member of the audience, I would like to state that it was more like: After intermission, the band the Look Machine took the stage with a lively two-song acoustic set that engaged the audience evoking enthusiastic applause during each of the songs. The two selections, "Fanatic" and "As Much" were an enticing sample of the band's talent and ability to maintain musical drive and vocal interest when playing unplugged. For the final song, lead-guitarist Ian enchanted the crowd with an intricate and intense finger-style guitar song in which he transforms his ordinary, acoustic guitar into another instrument entirely creating percussion and melody accented with detailed harmonics.

I don't think linds was there. She just made it up...

No just kidding. She was there rocking out.

I figure the dude who wrote it probably left at the intermission (before we played). Actually, he might not have ever come. Anybody could have written the artivle by looking at the program for the night.

Besides, he said the show was sold out, and it clearly was not.
