Sometimes it seems like life plays a cosmic trick on you and everything becomes due in a very shortened amount of time. That's the situation I find myself in now. I have 4 presentations I have to finish for a consulting job that I'm doing at Chase. I have to finish another 15 pages of my screenplay by tomorrow for my screenwriting program. I have to finish writing an interactive quiz for a job I'm doing for the Blood Bank of Delmarva. I need to finish designing Christian Dunn's book. I have to finish all my financial year end stuff for my taxes. Oh yeah, and a special top 10 print for someone who is leaving Chase. And that's just the stuff that's due this week.

What do you do when you're so busy? I don't even have time to watch my netflix movies or play with my Wii.

usually i think of a deadline as a the edge of a high cliff i'm running towards at top speed. all my tasks and responsibilities are like an angry mob chasing me to my death. at the very last second, i lay down at the edge of the cliff and fall asleep, and the angry mob hurdles over the precipice . i'm usually none the worse for wear.

LOL, then I'm going to bed. Goodnight, suckers!

Jase, you are one of the only people I know who intentionally deprives themselves from one of the best stress management tools known to human kind. It is something that helps you to work efficiently for long hours and get everything done that has to get done. COFFEE!!!

Don't listen to him, Jase--you stay strong without that horrid, addictive substance. We Latshaw's are made of stronger stuff and don't need it. :-)

Collin, I thought you were talking about something else!

Jase don't forget about writing a full length play about the life of David!

Seriously, what do you all do when you can't play with your wii? I just feel sorry for the people out there who don't even have a wii to play with!

I got through college, nursing school and pregnancy without coffee- they are probably the three most demanding and stressful times I have ever endured. Just power through- do a chunk of work at a time- you'll get it all done.

Also, my Jason is playing Twilight Princess on a Nintendo Game-cube because we are not yet "rich-like-astronauts" (but will be someday).

can someone delete that comment? it's gross!

Posted by: Anonymous on January 25, 2007 10:13 AM

I’m a shamed. The mighty look machine website (I call it the propaganda machine) has fallen this far? One innocent penis joke is being called for censure? I remember the good old days when we spoke without fear of punishment or condemnation. It was like a brotherhood of man. Imagine it, all the people sharing all the world. You may say that it is my dream, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us and the world will live as one.

BTW, the penis comment was not me.

maybe you should save your complaints until it's actually deleted.

I’m just a champion for free-speech. I saw possible infringements upon it, and you know Jason, all it takes for evil to flourish is for good people not to act. you know me, i'm good people.
