More updates

Since I've last written I've actually been home and flown back to CA, which is kind of surreal that you can do that in the course of 3 days. It was very strange to see my house and it not really be my house. I was staying at my parents house and they were having some church ladies meeting there at around 6 and I realized I didn't really have anywhere to go that was "mine." It's strange, very strange.

We took the kids for a tour of their school today. I could feel their nervousness as they were the "new kids who just moved from out of town." Thank God, one of the girls said to Lyric, "Will you be my friend?" For Lyric, who had been telling people that the only friends she's made here in California so far are a lizard and a hummingbird, this really made a huge difference.

Ollie has a fever now, poor guy.

About the lizards and the hummingbirds, it's very cool to live in a place where they always greet you outside your door.

My orientation is in a week. Things have been crazily busy.

Darby was right, the bathroom has "significant levels of black mold behind the wall" according to our inspector.

Should I keep writing here, or start a new blog? Part of me thinks this blog dies if I do that because well... Ian's gotten engaged and the other guys have started a new band and none of that warrants even a single post. but at the same time I feel strange making this the "jason and his family go to Ca" outlet.

Finally got my camera, so pictures are coming.

As a transplant to L.A. and then back to PA, I have to admit I'm enjoying your tales of adjustment. Do you have a personal myspace you can blog on if you shut this down?

I vote for a new blog.

Keep this blog alive. Tell everyone I said hello.

I'm already subscribed to this blog, so if you start a new one, I might have to hit a few keys and click my mouse a few times, which is so tiresome...

New blog!

I say make the band members post something every once in a while. But jason specific things go to a new blog.

I say keep posting on here. It makes me feel like the look maching lives on, at least as a ghost. Plus it keeps out web stats up, which is nice, and honestly it would take you ages to get a new blog going with the kind of prominence in the search engines that this one has already.

if you start a new blog, it might be useful for school & new exciting life purposes. Like documenting becoming a documentary maker. Would be nice networking tool for your fellow students, other film making aspirants, new church buddies, potential future job connections, etc if you could direct them to a new blog that isn't crowded with a lot of other stuff. Cool other stuff though, I admit. I'll still read wherever you blog. I'm pretty sure that I can figure out how to make a new bookmark.

Could you also start posting weather updates and maybe news headlines. I really don't know how to access any web pages other than this one! I think a really great idea would be for you to start posting some sort of online auction each week too. I have heard about other sites that do this (eBeach or something), but I have no idea how to view any of them in this big world wide web. My only connection to the outside world comes through you.
