Enchanted
Go and see this movie. It's really very clever, well made, funny, and sweet. Perfectly cast... loved it. Hopefully it'll usher in more hand drawn animation. I love the Pixar stuff, but there is something about a great big 2D animated film that seems more epic and timeless. I still can't believe Disney discontinued the art form...

This was a test about how much Disney wanted to invest in 2D again, but yes they are working on hand-drawn animation again. Part of it is that CGI animation has started to tank sometimes too... and I think they've decided to let Pixar handle computer generated, and Disney Feature Animation do the hand drawn. Great news, I think.

It is an amazing movie! There are so many little fascinating parts of the movie--like the person who did Ariel's voice is in it. Lots of fun!
