And this is why you should wear hightops

...when you play basketball. Ouch, this is painful.

I've been limping around since Wednesday.

Is that cause you love to pop and lock and jam and break?

and really, is that even legal?

but seriously, Jase...yes--please wear high tops!!!!! that is so sad--I hate injuries; hopefully yours gets better soon!

I have cankles in that picture!

At least I did it during a good play, I jumped up and blocked a shot cleanly, then landed on someones foot on the way down.

What a bummer when it happened, I felt that telltale pop and knew it was bad. Man it hurt!

And we were in game 5 of a very tightly played series, up 12-9 in a game to 13 to break the tie. Ugh, I gimped it out for the remainder of the game and we lost 13-12. Sad.

For the last three weeks I've been playing very well, too, developing a rep as a quick shooter who makes his shots a lot, so that's fun.

Definitely need to wear the hightops from now on. And an ankle brace for a good long while, too.

No popping and locking and it should be illegal.

Honestly It looks severe enough that you should probably get an Xray.. it could be fractured on some level

Oh, Jase! How sad! It's the right time for me to come to see you; I can see that you need a bit of mothering!

Oh man jase i am so sorry that you hurt your foot! I have been there and it is not fun at all. Just relax and watch a marathon of real housewives of o.c. and get the kids to make you a bagel with dairy free cream cheese. That worked for me! : )
