It's 3.25 in the morning and a marathon writers group session just ended where we discussed all of our scripts which we're submitting for the major contest here at the end of each year, call showcase. I'm fortunate to be a in group with such brilliant people, we all really make each other scripts so much better.
I'm going to bed. Ollie wakes up in 3 hours.

Jason, I just saw atonement, and I have to agree with you, though i was never really bored, the middle to end floundered about. And despite being well acted and the first half being decent, the only intriguing part of this movie was the ending. Nothing ever grabbed me. I could careless if Robbie went to prison or if Cecillia was heart broken. There wasn't any character development. More time was spent on the dumb little twins than making the audience care about those two main characters. If it hadn't ended that way, I would of forgotten it before I could of turned it off. Without touching on the whole moral aspect of the old lady's "atonement," I liked it. It was atypically, abrupt, WTF, and only thing that "redeemed" the movie for me.
