Indy 4 - More commentary (not from me)
You already know I was disappointed. Here's an excellent write up about the flaws of the film, and why it didn't live up to the Indiana Jones franchise.
I agree with just about every one... great insight into movies in general.

I would say I went in not expecting this movie to be better than Raiders or Last Crusade. I came out with that same feeling. I enjoyed it, I had problems with it of course, but in the end it was still behind the first and third. I have to go back and re-watch Temple to see if I would rank Crystal Skull higher.

I saw it not so long ago, and couldn't believe how bad I thought it was. Different strokes for different folks!
