InterContinental Music
We just sold a CD to someone who lives in France. That brings our list of "countries with people who own our CD" up to 4.
US, UK, France, Thailand.
Like the Axis of Evil. Only there are 4 of them. And they are Awesome.
Update: Ian adds Canada, Gurnsey, Australia and Ghana to the list.

Threadless: Nude No More
It has been brought to our attention that a few good friends of The Look Machine have entered a tee-shirt design competition on the website threadless.com. This online shirt company accepts designs from anyone willing to submit and then the designs are put up for voting. The higher voted designs are selected and then printed. People can then buy those shirts and the designers win really awesome prizes.
Brett, Justin, and Paul (click their names to see their designs)have submitted designs and they are currently in the running. They would be greatly appreciative of anyone who votes for them. It only takes about 2 min to sign up, then people can vote. Obviously, they are hoping everyone gives them "I'd buy it and 5" because that is the top score.
You should really take the time to do this because threadless is an awesome company. They are supporting original artwork and doing cool stuff with it. They also print almost exclusively on American Apparel shirts which is really cool because this ensures that no sweatshop labor was used in the making of the garment.

The CD's Have Arrived
Hello, everybody.
The title says it, the CD's are here, finally!

If you buy a CD at the concert tonight, you will get into the official CD release concert on Sunday for free. If you buy ten CD's, I will give you a hug.
[You can still listen to some songs here.]

How is the new Thursday Album?
Do you like it Poncho?

Because there was a day when you would have bought the new look machine album first.
OK, I am just joking!

Our Sympathies
Our friend Paul Odders broke his nose last night. He is probably going to need surgery to fix it. He was playing basketball and apparently ran face first into a metal pole. In case you were wondering, metal poles are not soft and don't have very much give. Take a look at the picture of the damage to Paul's face after the link (not for the faint of heart).
Click the picture for the full size :)
OUCH!!!

Another Show Played!
Yo.
We played this Saturday.
I think that we did well, although I don't really know. I could not hear a darn thing! I was behind the drum cage and heard only the one song when Ian played the keyboard which came through my monitor. Other than that, nothing...
I couldn't bring my own drums. It was horrible, I hate the drumset that I played. This is a thing that only maked sense to drummers.
I think that the other guys did really well though.
we will have more shows soon...

change. it's worth less than a dollar.
Okay.
It's time.
For a change.
?
maybe?
?
My hair is pretty freaking long. So I wanted to ask all the look machiners...
What should I do about it?
So far, the opinion is that I should cut it some, but not too much.
So yah, what?

Favorite Fan of the Day - PONCHO
Fans, take a cue from Poncho. . . she's the best fan of the week, the month. . . She put this poster up in her school. Just for that, we would totally love to play at her school's battle of the bands. (and probably lose, but whatever it's worth it.)
Thanks Poncho.

A Fine Sight to See
Collin, Lindsay, and I were carpooling to work and school today. We were driving across the University of Delaware campus, and what did we see? A student walking down the road wearling a Look Machine t-shirt. The best part, none of us knew him.
A genuine fan! It's awesome.
