More thoughts.

Here's what's going through my mind right now.

The wife's home. It's fun hanging out with my best friend again. :)

Sunburn hurts. I have a lot of it from working on a roof in 95 degree weather today.

I saw The Da Vinci Code. I liked Langdon better in the movie than the book.

We should pray for the Sudan peace talks. They don't look like they are going well.

Anyone ever do the thing where they get a piece of cooked spaghetti and make it go in their mouth and out their nose? I did once. It was a truly surreal experience.

I saw X-men 3. For the first time I can remember, a movie with super-powered people annoyed me. I just don't understand why, when a comic book has 30+ years of successful story lines, why they can't use them instead of creating new lame ones. And don't get me started on the Golden Gate Bridge scene . . .

Meatball subs are something that I love but don't often think to eat.

Buy the Garden State soundtrack. You won't regret it.

I saw Capote. I was tired. It was slow. I feel asleep (though what I saw of Philip Seymore Hoffman, I loved)

Sunburn REALLY hurts.

You know what I love to do? Go online and read e-fights between PC and Mac users. They are awesome.

What kind of merchandise would you guys buy if we got it made?

. . . I'm done.

Shallow Thoughts

by Xerxes

I watched the season finale of The Office. It was . . . amazing. Truly. It made me a better man.

I had a cupcake from Magnolia's bakery in NYC. It was . . . amazing. Truly. It made me a little fatter.

Summer movies I'm excited about
The Da Vinci Code
Pirates of the Carribean 2
X-Men 3
The Peaceful Warrior

Why does the phrase "rear up" actually mean to lift one's front up?

I have roughly 7 loads of laundry to do right now. Roughly 5 loads of that is on my bedroom floor.

My wife comes home from a ten month tour in 9 days. This makes me happy. I start "working" (a.k.a. watching people sleep) on Wednesday night. That makes me not poor.

My brother- and sister-in-law had a baby this week. He's really small right now.
(Is there a correct grammatical way to write "brother- and sister-in-law if they are both in-laws? Did I do it right?)

random thoughts.

Here is a big, steaming pile of brain miscellany that I'm hoping will spark some conversation:

Some people like to drink their own urine. It reduces aging. In my lifetime, I've also heard that it toughens your hands, cures athletes foot, and is the most effective acne medicine. Thoughts?

I've been unemployed for 9 weeks now; Cool for about 2 days. Kinda depressing for the remaining 60.

I have this remote control. It controls most of the stuff in my apartment. That makes me happy.

I don't think I'm ever going to golf. i just . . . yeah . . . don't think I will.

So, Bush did this thing at this correspondents' dinner, where he brought in a Bush-impersonator who basically stood next to him and made fun of him. I was in shock, because some of it was really funny stuff. Google it. It's good.

I'm happy with the Eagles draft choices.

Cup O' Noodles has this thing called a "Souper Meal." It's Big, it's Hot, and it's full of Ramen. Need I say more? (I'm actually ingesting one as I type this)

That's all. Discuss.

P.S. I met Snake Man! In real life. And I PWNED him in poker. Pwned like a noob.
