The Beauty of a Dumpster
One thing I've learned about this world is that beauty isn't always where you'd expect it to be. I love finding examples of such things. It's like hope in a world of gloom. Kind of like a baby born in a run down barn or something. Anyway, whenever I can find examples, I like to take a snapshot. Here are some images that I think are beautiful, and yet they are all part of a dumpster, which is really rather ugly.
What do you think?
Does anyone have any other examples they would like to share?

Some nice picks there. What kind of camera are you useing?
It's a Nikon D100, which is expensive, but takes a picture like a real camera and can use real camera's lenses, so if you're going to take digital shots, it's worth saving for.
When I have the time and money and when it's a really important shot, I use a medium format Mamiya 645 AF . . . I love the crispness of the shots, but it costs a whole lot to develop the film and buy the film.
I liked your little discussion of beauty in the ugly. I think that there is beauty in everything and everyone. Sometimes you have to look harder than others, but if you care about it, you can find it.
I gotta agree with Collin. I know it's true because once I even saw beauty in The Look Machine
You must have a REALLY deep comitment to seeing beauty even in the really ugly places.
Clearly, anonymous was looking at Ian.
How could you look at me and not see beauty? A total impossibility!
I don't know what they're talking about Ian cause I find you very attractive.
