Ian is pretty cool
Yesterday Ian and I got togethe to record a song about poverty that he had to write for one of his classes at school. I have to say, it's a pretty cool song. Ian said that it was kind of cheesy, but I wouldn't say it was at all. It's kind of staying with me a little. I like that the members of this band aren't ashamed to say we want to make this world better, aren't too cool and cynical to say things like that.
Anyway, I can't really post the lyrics or song or anything without Ian's permission, so if you all beg enough maybe he's go for it.

Alright Ian... lets see it. Speaking of which, it might be cool to have a page on the website dedicated to showing us the lyrics to all of your songs. Just an idea. Rock on brothers.
Ok, that was a lot of begging. Since the multitudes insist, here it is:
Live Our Lives
Intro
You know there’s much more
Much more to life than this
Just living and dying
Swallowed by our emptiness
Are poverty and hunger
A reflection of our starving souls?
Let’s give of ourselves
Patch up each other’s holes
Chorus 1
We have to find a way
A way to make a change
A change in how we live
Our lives are meant to give
Verse
We are living in riches
In our comfortable homes
A child is dying
Cold and alone
Our ears are dear to their cries
We look at the world through selective eyes
Why are we so afraid?
What have we got to lose?
Chorus 2
We have to find a way
A way to warm our hearts of stone
Lets stand lets strive lets fight let’s give
Life to these flesh and bones
Oh God of love and God of life
Please let me feel
Let me be your outstretched hands
Show me how to heal
Outro
We Can make a change
Its time to take a stand
We can rise above
And strive for our promised land
Interesting.
