Two Weeks Out
I am done College now... for a while anyway. I Graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Anthropology and one in Psychology. I didn't expect it to be a big deal, but I really liked the actual graduation ceremony. It brought a nice sense of completion. I think that since I was home-schooled for much of my life and always attended an informal church, the Pomp and Circumstance of the whole graduation thing was fun for me. I never really am a part of things with that kind of formality, so I really enjoyed the different awards ceremonies, speeches, honors, etc... over the past few weeks.
I am going to Chicago tomorrow for a big Graphic Design conference. I have been really excited about it for a while because I love the work that I do, but I can't wait to learn more. Some graphic design superstars will be teaching workshops and there is lots of awesome video-production stuff going on besides the web design essentials. It is going to rock.
Lindsay (my wife) is coming with me to Chicago (we are driving) and then we are going to take a vacation from there. We are going to take a while to come back through Canada and go around the North Shore of the Great Lakes. It is such beautiful country up there with a whole different ecology. I love camping, and that is one of my favorite areas of the world. This should be a cool time.
So all that is to say that I will be out for a while. All in all it will be about 2 weeks that I am gone. I love this weblog. I love reading other band members' posts. I love posting my own thoughts. I love reading the comments and responding to them. I won't be able to take part in all of the fun for 2 weeks, and I think I will miss it. I hope you miss me too.

I already miss you! and Ian just left too! this is going to be a boring week with finals and no big brothers close by 'cause Nathan lives like fifteen minutes away and you're both gone. Have fun in Canada, and visit Sleeping Giant National Park for me!

2 weeks??? Thats a long time. I'm gonna miss you man. Like a fat kid misses cake.

You can probably get online in some internet cafes if you're desperate to check in! We'll miss you!
You'd think that there would be some sort of internet connection are your mac design conference. But who knows, maybe they use messanger pigeons.
