Hello,
Heard your song “All our Hands” on Download.com and loved it. I work at an advertising agency in Dallas, Texas and we’re looking for 5-10 unsigned artists to contribute to a compilation cd that’s part of a music themed sales education tool for a large mobile phone maker. It will be distributed to about 800 sales associates at wireless stores around the country and the cd will have info on where to find more of the artists music/info. I’d love for you to be a part of this if you’re interested. Let me know as soon as you can, we’ have to produce the cds this week. Also if you have an questions, of course.

this does sound interesting. Look into it. It could be cool. My hesitations would be money (of course), and also I wouldn't want to sign the rights to our song over to anyone just yet. I like that song and want to continue to use it for ourselves. But those are just 2 cautions... it might be a great thing. I guess we will see.
I don't think we would be signing the rights to the song over at all, at least we won't do it if those are the terms. Just some exposure I guess. I'll give him a call -- they are a legitimate ad agency.
at least he was forthright about what his intentions were as well..
he said who he represented and what he was looking for..
It will not cost us any money! We'll get sample CDs. I heard back from him. I think we should do it. . . Thoughts?
