This is getting freaky....
Tonight I went over to someone's house to hang out with a few friends. Well a good friend of mine from church had to leave early because her parents had given her a time to be home by. I left about 20 minutes after she did. On the way home I noticed some hazard lights flashing in the distance. As I slowed down I noticed that it was her van that had it's hazards on. It's a horrible feeling to recognize a car that's just been in an accident. Someone rearended her as she was turning off 896. The good news is that she's pretty much fine. Something that I didn't notice until right after I had left was that I didn't see another car. I think they might have run. This, in addition to the people not stopping for my accident makes me feel pretty crappy about the world.
Ian, me, and now another of my friends.....pretty strange

This is crazy...all these crashes...plus my sister's and 2 of my other friends' cars broke down.
I saw the accident, well I guess the aftermath or whatever. it was about 11:40 i think when we drove by. The lights on the cop car were on, but he was nowhere around. It was sort of spookey.
Hi, my name is Snake Man... and... I have car problems.
[sob]
"Hi, Snake Man."
This morning, as I was driving around like I always do when I'm working, I... I... I looked down... oh man...
"It's ok, Snake Man. Let it out."
[more sobbing]
Thank you. I'm alright, I think. But... I was driving and... I looked down at my gauges and my car was... OVERHEATING...
["I feel your pain, brother!"]
And I, I pulled over and popped the hood, and... and the radiator was full... and, and... and the fans were working...
["That sucks, dude!"]
I know, right. And I was like, what the crap?
TO BE CONTINUED WHEN THE CAUSE OF SNAKE MAN'S CAR TROUBLES IS DISCOVERED.
That is all.
It happened shortly before 11. I pulled up about 11:15-11:20 right when the first cop was getting there. I forgot to mention she's a pretty frequent visitor to this blog.
Sorry to hear that snakeman. Pretty soon we'll all be riding horses or something.
indeed, it is freaky... but all in Gods hands. Our '68 mustang has broken down on us alot lately-- but i guess that should be expected. Our truck has broken down too and about 2 weeks ago my papa was in an accident. lets see, what point is God trying to show us? We'll have to keep our eyes open.
oh this is me...accident girl.....and i thought i would mention that the accident happened the night i got my look machine tshirt..hmmmmmmmmm.....kinda scary huh
but yeah...i was rearended by a drunk driver and he probably would have fled the scene but his truck wouldn't start...some people living near the scene of the accident pushed his truck into a driveway...but he was pretty oblivious at the time...and after the cops questioned him he was taken away in handcuffs for being DUI...God definitely had his hand of protection over me...the driver was skidding to a stop and if he had been going 45 or 50 I could have DIED!! So Jesus is definitely looking out for all of us! Thanks everybody for the concern and I am feeling fine, but waiting to do sports has been killing me---supposedly soft tissue damage can occur days after the accident. But I feel fine and I am so glad that David and Ian were safe too!!
Yeah, I forgot to make a follow up post about what really happened. Accidentgirl did it so now you all know.
accidentgirl,
Hey, I'm really glad that you are OK! Is the Drunk guy's insurance going to pay for your car?
Ps. When I crashed into the person nobody tested me, or even asked if I was drunk. And it was almost midnight on Memorial day... weird. (for the record, I was not drunk, mostly because I never drink)
