Too Bad for Them!
Right now Collin and Jason are stuck somewhere in Florida with some kind of nasty Hurricane about to rain on them, really hard. They went down there for a conference, but then the conference was canceled, as well as all flights out of Orlando. So they are trying to make a plan, but plans can be hard to make during hurricanes and mandatory evacuations. And evacuations can be equally hard to make, especially without transportation. Looks like the band just got smaller... at least for a while. I'm sure that they will be ok, they have an incredible knack for getting out of tough situations. Somehow they always seem to come out of them ahead too! So they will figure it out, and have fun doing it.
Ps. Have any of you been following the russian hostage story! It's confusing and aweful!!! It just ended in a bloody mess, and to tell the truth it's bothering me considerably.

Ian, don't feel too bad for us. . . although we miss our families horribly, our time down here is not too bad, in fact the weather is wonderful right now still and we went to Universal Parks today. (And last night too). And in truth we're kind of looking forward to seeing the hurricane up close. We're in a large brick hotel, so we don't anticipate any safety issues.
And, only the last day of the conference was cancelled, so we still got to learn a whole lot of Digital Photography and Photoshop -- very inspirational. It's just frustrating because starting this morning, all flights are cancelled until Monday -- AND I-95 is a parking lot (3 Million people evacuating!), AND the gas stations are out of gas. . . so we're stuck here. . . And trains are cancelled too.
Hey man, great post earlier. I'd be honored to battle alongside with you even without a sword. . . like with just torches and clay jugs if need be,.
good times indeed!
Last year, I was in West Palm Beach for a nursing conference during the week of Isabel. Fortunately, (or unfortunately, depending on your perspective) Isabel drove right up the Chesapeake and slammed into Baltimore! So, Jayson and I think that people need to stop scheduling conferences in Florida during hurricane season.
Sounds like a pretty good time man! Did you get to ride the Spiderman? That;s the best ride ever made, or at least the best ride ever ridden by a guy named Ian.
Jase, this is Merry. I just want to say that We know that you are not a false prophet. We know that you believe that Jesus is the way the truth and the light and we know that you are only trying to point people to him. Furthermore because it is not true it is slander.n James 4:11 " Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it."...12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you, who are you to judge your neighbor?" Anyway, I love you and you and Collin are truly men of God. Honestly, you have the right to state your opinion on anything you want and have no obligation to debate anyone. By the way, I have no idea what the heck " why don't you nurse babies back to health" means. SO maybe someone can explain it to me. Is that suppose to be like..." your opinion sucks so just stick with being barefoot and pregnant?" if so, that is pretty funny... and rude...but pretty funny. Anyway, blessings on mynym's head.
Oh, and before I am confronted about not having scripture to back up the fact that Jase is not a false prophet I'll take a stab at it.@ Peter 2 does a really good job of giving us warning signs of a false prophets. Peter is talking about how the scriptures were not the interpretation of the prophets but God breathed. A false prophet was someone who was adding things to the Bible and claiming that it was from God. Now, I know that this is what Mynym is getting at. However, these men were doing it were doing it for their own political advancement as well as their financial gain. This is not the case with our friend Jase. If he believes something he speaks it. Not for money, not for advancement. He has no alterior motives...simply stating what he believes. He is not trying to have a herd who follows him blindly...if people follow blindly without studying scripture for themselves, that is dumb.
Hey Merry, thanks for the kind words. .. they mean alot. And I know you don't just say things to be nice, so they're especially special coming from you.
