Projections
I've been wanting for some time now to put together video projections to use during our concerts. I think we're going to try to get it together for our 10/30 show. Anyone have any ideas of what we could do? I have some, but more ideas never hurt. . . unless they are terrible ideas. Then I just ignore them.
HoSco and I are getting together today to write a TV pilot! Just for the experience really, but wouldn't it be great if something became of it.

I think a pilot about a pharmacy student and his nurse wife would probably be about the funniest thing you could ever do..
unless you want to make it a drama.. in that case.. i think nothing gets more serious than a nurse at a hospital and her student pharmacist husband
What kind of projections are you talking about? I get the general idea, like stuff playing on a screen while we play, but are you thinking abstract or natural or would it have a plot would there be people? I'm just trying to get a feel for where I should direct my ideas. I might have a pretty good one!

I think you should be playing that hit new movie Keson in the background of your shows. That thing has some KICKIN special effects.
P.O.D. had some hot butterfly girl up behind them on the screne.
Linkin Park Had army tanks and Helicopters and this cute little boy and a bunch of their orangish color scheme stuff, you know? it was sort of a riot setting.
What do you think crazy punk-rawk kids might appreciate? without it being... lets call it: "too crazy."

I was thinking for fanatic having some kind of montage of figures in history who stepped outside of the norm enough to really take risks and believe something and change the world for the better, culminating with Christ, who's kind of the ultimate fanatic, in my opinion, because he took world dedicated to karma and the law and fulfilled it with love and grace and sacrifice. Of course all of these pictures can be spliced with something else too.
For "as much" I was thinking about having these artistically rendered looking people who are kind in cages or glass rooms or something and they aren't able to actually reach out and touch each other and then towards the end of the song something breaks and they can.
Ian's got a good idea that I think would work well with Simpler than it seems.
So now I'm just kind of stumped on all our hands and the new song that comes after it. . .
Hey I think it would be totaly AWSOME if you would project random people jumping out of trees behind you when you play... because your music always makes me want to jump from trees.
P.S> I am willing to be a stunt man for this project.
I hear that Anonymous people are awesome stunt men.
