A message to the Johns
Hi John Kerry and John Edwards,
I am not a Bush supporter. Neither do I support you. But I have to ask you, concede. This is not 2000. You have lost the popular vote by nearly 4 MILLION votes. That is a whole lot of people. Your "contested state" is not a matter of hundreds and thousands votes, but 136,000. I know you think you are employing a strategy which learns from Gore's mistakes, but I think you are killing what faith the world and the American people have in our democratic process. Come on now, concede graciously. You lost. It's not even all that close.

This is John Edwards-- I just was taking some time out of my litigious schedule, reading your blog, and boy, I tell you I love you guys' music.
But anyway, Ohio has over 175,000 provisional votes that must be counted before you can discount our winning this election. Sure, we lost the popular vote, but then again, Bush lost the popular vote in 2000 by 543,895 votes. So cut us some slack, man! (and we're only losing the popular vote by 3.5 million right now)
We promise not to make it all drawn out, but we need to find out for SURE what the electoral college looks like.
By the way, can I get an autographed CD?
If you successfully sue my insurance company so it replaces the floor in my basement, I will give you a shirt too.
BTW John, you do make some good points. I just don't want to have to wait another 39 days and set the precedent that every marginally close election is fair game for litigation and confusion.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *rolls around the floor* Kerry wanting a cd?! dude thats freakin awesome! HAHAHAA! Wow! lolz you guys are too awesome
~Poncho (eh not today in a bad mood which btw this cheered me up)
wOOt!! Yay Bush! Ooooh... anyone seen the movie the Three Faces of Eve? It's interesting... 'bout a woman with Dissociative Identity Disorder... a.k.a. Multiple Personality Disorder... yupyup... we're going over abnormal psychology in my psych class. disorders and stuff it's fun.
I was read this, and thought it was amusing, and I tried to think of something clever to say, but for all my half hearted attempts I came up with nothing. At all. Maybe it's because I am listening to Avril Lavigne...
Ok sorry my laughing fit is over. Avril Lavigne huh? Maybe that explains it lol...im playing. I like everything but eh....Avril doesn't really thril me all that much. Probably because she sounds like my friend Mr.Alawishious with a horrible cold (which btw, no offense Mr.A, but he has a scratchy voice). Eh oh well and well i gotta go do a wonderful spanish project about why i like the surburbs *cough* lol. Keep rockin'!
~Poncho (yet again still bad mood...very sick of alot of stuff so excuse the no poncho pun.)
Hi Jason, this is John Edwards again. Just wanted you to know that I really took your words to heart, listened to Fanatic a few times, and basically went to talk to John about just dropping the whole thing.
Heck, we had a good run, but you're right, 3.5 million is still 3.5 million. I'm just happy so many people voted this year.
So, since I retired from the senate to run for VP, I now have some free time on my hands... what was the name of your insurance company again?
John, I am proud of the two of you, you did the classy thing. I am very thankful that you didn't set a new precedant of settling elections in the courts with lawyers, and made 2000 look more like an blip than a standard.
It's STATE FARM!!! Let loose your litigious fury!
Wow! You actually got Kerry to listen to you! Good job! Your influence is growing in leaps and bounds.
