An interview in Rolling Stone
So today I get an email from a person purporting to be a writer for Rolling Stone magazine. Yep, he wants to interview me. Unfortunately, it's not for the Look machine's music. It's about the U2 fan club pre-sale. He was doing some research online, and yes, he found my missive. And he's writing an article about it, and wants to get my take. Interesting, huh?
Hello -- I'm a writer for Rolling Stone magazine who came across your blog
post about buying U2 tickets. I'm doing a story on online ticket sales and
wondered if I might ask you some questions (by phone preferably, or email)
about your experience. Let me know, thanks!

Cool... what's your take on the matter? you gonna do it? :-D have a great day!
awesome.. maybe you can get in the magazine, then Bono will read your comments and weap.. and then he will personally call you and appologize.. then he will invite you out for a few drinks.. then he will hear about your band.. listen to the CD.. love it.. help you get signed.. then you'll go on tour with U2 and become bigger than Metallica.. and its all because of blogger
hey guys, poncho (a.k.a. rebecca or rebecky) told me to tell you look machiners hey, so:
"Hey guys!"
Maybe you could just mention the Look Machine to the Rolling Stone Magazine guy, and maybe he could just slip a little mention of us in his article.
Actually, I like Jayson J's idea better. Let's go hang out with Bono.
So help me God, Jason, if you do anything to ruin my chances at being friends with bono...
I was very respectful of u2 in the interview, which went very well by the way, blaming the mess on ticketmaster, not the band. And yes, he asked, "what band are you in again?" And when I said, "the Look Machine" I heard him scrawling it down.
Awesome. We're practically world-famous now. U2 will probably open for us next month. If we let them.
