Grout Pond Vermont : A Brothers' Tradition
Every Winter, just after Christmas, My Brothers and I pile into a pickup truck and drive up to Vermont. We know of an old cabin in the National Forest way out in the mountains that anyone can use. There is no electricity or water, but there is an old woodstove. We usually go up for a couple of days and just hang out. We ski behind the truck (like waterskiing), we hike, and we do our best to survive the sub-zero temperatures. This is a tradition that I love. Here are some pictures.
