I play a whole lot better on the kick when I don't have shoes on though.

But playing at the chance is still big and awesome. I just went there not too long ago for the Ramen tour whoooo! The Academy Is!!! Anyway, if you guys do come up here, I will tell everyone to go. Everyone needs to see The look machiners! :)

Poncho, The people at the chance were really cool. They wrote right back to me and gave me the email address for the guy who is booking the show (juan from rhythm den music group). He is the guy I can't get ahold of. Maybe he is on vacation or something. Any suggestion for how I can get in touch with the guy?
Drew, those pictures didn't make your butt look big. Your big butt made those pictures look small.

Juan DiazdelValle: promoter and CEO of Rhythm Den Music Group, Newburgh
A Newburgh resident, DiazdelValle got his music industry start 10 years ago, booking punk, metal and indie rock shows at the now-defunct Planetarium and skatepark in Newburgh. Now, DiazdelValle brings bands to the Chance Entertainment Complex in Poughkeepsie, the Vault in Port Jervis, and various local firehalls and VFW halls.
"I'm booking groundbreaking, underground bands," DiazdelValle says. "If you're hearing about them now, you probably saw them at one of my shows two years ago."
In January, DiazdelValle and partner José Wrancher will expand their decade-old company Rhythm Den Music Group by opening Rhythm Den Studios. Based out of the Chance, they'll work with bands such as Poughkeepsie's Knives Wide Open. They'll also record jingles for radio and corporations.
And DiazdelValle has even more in store. In the spring, he'll start a merchandise company to provide screen printing for local and national bands, and he'll launch DOME Magazine, a publication focusing on underground bands, in 2005.
So It says hes directly based outta The Chance. *shrugs* He looks nice in his picture lolz. Just keep emailing and calling if you really wanna do it. You know I know how cool they are but you can always book some shows there at other times. :) Argh Im sorry :(
no problem. I found exactly the same info for the guy. Seems like a really cool guy huh? I wonder if he knows that there is already a magazine called "Dome Magazine." It is for dome house living.
*laughs* dome house living? haha *shrugs* little things in life amuse me alot. Like finding yellow cars....hahaha ah sorry i'll stop now :)
