Playstation 3 versus XBOX 360 versus Nintendo Revolution
I think it goes without saying that they will all be fast, they will all be online, they will all be high def graphics, and they will all be wireless. I think all three look pretty good too. Of course, we have no idea how much they cost, but it can be safely assumed that the 360 and Sony will be about the same price, with the Revolution a little bit cheaper.
So which will you be buying? Please cast your vote in the comments section and let me know why too.
I think I may buy 2.
I definitely will not buy 3.
I definitely will buy 1.
If I bought only 1, I'm buying the Revolution. My time is at a premium, so I can't spend hours playing a whole library of games anyway. And for my money, any system that has Zelda is the system I want. PLUS, you will be able to download games from the last 20 years, dating back to the NES.
I'm sold, that's amazing.
The ability to play RC Pro AM, Kid Icuras, Rush N' Attack, Trojan, etc will make it worth every last cent.
The only reason I've even had a Sony Playstation was to play Dance Dance Revolution, and it looks like they will port that franchise to Nintendo.
If I buy 2, which again I might, I'll probably also get the 360. I like the GB size on the Hard Drive and I have a hunch that 360 will slowly become the console of choice for many 3rd party developers - reportedly it's very easy to develop games for the XBOX. Why the 360 over the PS3? Mostly because it's launching first, and I know I want to wait for the Revolution, but I don't want to be totally left behind. Plus, the idea of Halo 3 is pretty enticing, and XBOX Live has a great headstart over any other online gaming community.
So that's where I am. . .
How about you?

I'll stick with sega genesis.
PS3!!!!
I get Game Informer (yea im a dork) and the details and specks of BOTH systems are amazingly mind blowing.
But PS3 is really taking it up with this new tech which i cannot think of now but microsoft is critizing them saying "dont promise before you can actually finalize it" blah blah....
Blue Ray tech.....oooooh lolz IM A GAMER DORK!
that's cool
Revolution...my life was changed by Zelda. OK, maybe not, but I have always had Nintendo and I am not a big fan of change.
Where Link goes I go. The experience of saving the princess never gets old. But I will probably pick up an XBox as well. Word is it will be compatible with the iPod in some way.

nerds
I really see no need for anyone to own a Playstation 2. Everything it does, the xbox does either better or much cooler. I have not been excited about a single game that is proprietary to Playstation 2. Playstation 1 had some good games, but nothing on 2.
I, therefore, will be purchasing an Xbox 360. Mostly for Halo 3. I will possible also buy a Revolution, but only as a desperate attempt to get my wife to play video games with me.
Anybody else think it is so freakng funny that XBOX 360 is only able to be run by power macs right now?
Check it out. There is a lot of very nerdy info on this site.
This has NOTHING at all to do with this thread, but I found this to be hilarious.
haha I like procrastination because.... I am a procrastinator to the X-core! ha really I had an essay due a month ago :P
The funniest is Inepitude....hehe
Inepitude... who makes up these words? God? No the devil because he likes to see me torture away at trying to learn these words.
I killed an X-core once from 500 yards by throwing a wombat at it.
i want a wombat... they're cool... oh wait... i think i'm thinking of a capybara
well i will definetly be getting the revolution and the 360 cause there the best, and i might get the ps3 but i'm not sure cause i've never actually liked ps but i might try this one.
I get game informer as well poncho, and I think if you get past a few graphical differences (with the ps3 on top) you can see that the 360 is the most functional and well-rounded machine to please your entertainment needs so that you may find yourself amused, yet intrigued. This is why I will be choosing the 360 - even if it has blue-ray, which, yes, sounds incredibly cool. But blue-ray isn't going to make me buy a system. To buy a system, it has to be a piece of entertainment unmatched by the others on the market, providing me with the neccessary pleasure to carry out my day. And Revolution....i would definitely not mind getting the old games, but I would like to know how much they costed. Now, if it was like $1 per game...sweet....
i will get the revolution because its afoordable but if i had the money i would get the ps3 becuz its the mostpowerful but cost 500 dollars
ps2 kicks the crap out of xbox no good games exept halo and conkers ps2 has great selection ps3 will waste 360 hands down bi*ch
microsoft is fags they should suck on my big dick they should whith pc they suck at consoles thier games blow to and terrible controllers graphics look like cartoons and they charge you for online gay pricks ps2 and ps3 kick ass
